When do we set a closing date for offers?

Published by on

Our brief guide explaining when and why we set a closing date when selling property in Edinburgh.

In the current property market in Edinburgh it is quite common for there to be more than one buyer looking to buy your property and all wanting to make you an offer.

The closing date is the date we set, usually a Friday (but it can be any day), to give all those buyers who have noted their interest in your property an opportunity to submit their best & final offer.

Usually we only set a closing date once there are three notes of interest but this will depend on circumstances and sometimes even if only two buyers have noted interest, it may still be appropriate to recommend to you that we set a closing date.

At Cameron Stephen & Co we have helped hundreds of people in and around Edinburgh sell their properties and so if we can help, please give us a call on 0131 555 1234.
